Terms of Service

Version 2026-10. These terms are between Osubula talks Solutions ("we", "us") and the bar, restaurant or business that signs up ("you"). They cover the bar and restaurant management system we host for you.

1. The service

We provide a hosted system for sales, stock, cash-up, reports, staff accounts and optional customer ordering. We work to keep it running and backed up, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. Features may change as we improve it.

2. Your account

The manager login you receive is yours to protect. You are responsible for everything done with your staff logins, for removing staff who leave, and for keeping passwords private. Tell us at once if you think a login has been misused.

3. Free trial, price and payment

A new account may start with a free trial. After that the subscription price shown on your invoice applies for each billing period. We send an invoice before the period starts and reminders if it is not paid. Payment is by mobile money or another method we list on the invoice. Prices may change for future periods; we will tell you first.

4. If a subscription is not paid

If your paid-until date passes, you have a short grace period during which everything still works. After that the system becomes read-only: you can still view and print your records, but new sales and orders are paused. Once payment is confirmed, full access returns straight away. We do not delete your data because of late payment, but we may suspend an account that stays unpaid for a long time.

5. Your data

Your sales, stock, customers and staff records belong to you. We store them only to run the service for you, keep a separate database for each business, and take regular backups. You can ask us for a copy of your data at any time, and for its deletion when you leave. Deleted businesses are kept for 30 days as a safety net, then removed. See our Privacy Policy.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record, for your tax and licensing obligations, and for the personal information of your customers and staff that you enter into the system. You must not use the service for anything unlawful, or try to break into other businesses' data.

7. Limits of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Keep your own cash and stock checks: the system is a record-keeping aid, not a substitute for them.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by not renewing. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. On request we will give you an export of your records before we remove them.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version you accepted is recorded on your account, and we will ask you to accept a new version when it changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
